Batheaston Children and Families

Children and families are warmly welcome to all our Sunday church services, and special services at Easter, Harvest and Christmas. For primary school children and their families we have our monthly JAM service on Sunday afternoons, and for under 5's, we have our village toddler group, Batheaston All Sorts on Tuesday mornings. To keep up to date with all services visit our Facebook page: Church of St John the Baptist, Batheaston

JAM

JAM runs every 4th Sunday of the month during term time, 3.30pm at  St John's. JAM is always a lively service, especially for children aged 4-11, and it's a chance to together and have fun! Each service includes a variety of activities and crafts for children and families to enjoy, as well as Bible stories, songs and prayer time. Refreshments are available too! Please click here.

Batheaston All Sorts

Batheaston All Sorts toddler group works in partnership with St John's Church providing parents, carers and under 5's to meet and socialise. You will see Lauretta there who will be more than happy to have a chat and to talk about baptism, if this is something you're considering for your child.

The group meets on Tuesday mornings, 9.30-11am during term time, at Batheaston New Village Hall, School Lane, BA1 7EP.  We offer a variety of fun and educational toys, craft activities, story time, music time and snacks!  And there's tea and coffee for the adults too!

The cost is £2 per session, per family.

Assemblies at Batheaston Primary School

Each week our Vicar prepares a whole school assembly for the children and staff at Batheaston Primary School. Our assemblies are based in and around the church calendar and on specific themes chosen by the shcool or the Vicar.
